First Light

First Light – Seeking God FIRST through our music so that His LIGHT shines bright for the world to see. – Originally called the First Baptist Praise Band it is now named First Light.  Though other members have come and gone, husband and wife team, Jeff and Jeni Gerber along with their beautiful daughter Kaitlin have been part of the band since its inception six years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Gerber each bring 33 years of music experience to the table.  Over the years the band has performed chart topper and original contemporary Christian songs that the Gerbers have arranged in such a way to make them easy to sing along with.  Recently at FBC First Light has been delighting the congregation with beautiful lighter songs.  The band has performed at various venues outside of First Baptist including the Holland Strawberry Festival Parade, fundraising events, and led a local church collaboration in 2010 at the Delta Chicken Festival Battle of the Church Bands, winning 1st place.  First Light always welcomes other musicians and singers, if interested in being a part of First Light at FBC  please contact Jeff and Jeni Gerber.
